General Computer Use

I use the computer almost entirely without my arms. There are 3 main tools I use:

1) vOICE RECOGNITION:

dRAGON nATURALLYsPEAKING PROFESSIONAL 15

Dragon used to be the only assistive tech I used, and you can do almost anything with it. Use it to write and edit emails and documents, open and switch between windows, click and scroll, etc.

2) hEAD MOUSE:

sMARTNAV 4 AT

The Smartnav works the same as a hand mouse, except that you move it with small motions of your head. With practice, you can use it with almost the same precision as a hand mouse.

3) Footpedals:

Omnipedal quad

The foot pedals were originally designed for gamers. They're great for clicking (left-click and right-click) and scrolling up and down.
